The spirit form of Nichino's zanpaku-to. Kosui Mai takes the form of a mature yet cheerful dancer, wielding her Shikai form's twin daggers as a weapon in combat. Even though Nichiino has only become aware of her existence recently, Kosui Mai has still been with the girl her entire life, and knows her better than anyone. In the short time she has had communication with her wielder, she has taken on a maternal roll due to the lack of a constant mother figure in Nichino's life. As her name would imply, Kosui Mai is a water-elemental zanpakuto, whose style relies more on agility than brute force. Name Meaning: Kosui-Mai is written with the kanji 降水舞, which translates into English as "Rainfall Dance".
