Middle sister of Heping Village's prominent Ling family, and current host of the Water Spirit. Although she wears gowns and ties her hair back while in the village due to her station, when she leaves with the Avatar group she wears more revealing attire and lets her hair loose, a reflection of how much she dislikes the constriction of her station. Due to the similarities of their background, she and Toph become quick friends.
